Customize your workspace

When spending hours in PandaSuite Studio, a few wisely chosen settings can make a difference: increased visibility when working on a small screen, precise markers for pixel-perfect design, tab management…

In this article, we review the most useful tips to customize the PandaSuite Studio interface to your liking.

Small screen, big project

On a 13”, you often juggle between multiple zoom levels. Use Space + mouse wheel to zoom, then release Space and hold (Mac) or Ctrl (Win) to pan the view without changing the selection.

Display and customize the grid

To activate the grid, click ZoomShow Grid.

Open the Grid Settings to adjust:

  • Block Width
  • Block Height
  • Number of Blocks
  • Color and Opacity (for a visible yet discreet grid)

Enable Snap to Grid so that objects automatically align to the grid.

You can display the grid without enabling snapping (or vice versa). Disable snapping if you’re working on pixel-perfect elements that shouldn’t align by default.

Change the language of your editor

PandaSuite Studio is available in French and English. The interface language has no impact on the languages of your project: it’s simply the display language of menus, tooltips, and panels.

To change the language, go to the home screen of your PandaSuite Studio and click on your account.

Choose the language you prefer.

Organize your tabs

PandaSuite Studio operates with modular panels.

You can customize their display to meet your needs.

Group screens and objects

By default, Screens (list of screens) and Objects (local hierarchy) are displayed together. You can separate them for better visibility.

Disable Group Screens and Objects in the Zoom menu.

Display panels in multiple columns

Enable tabbed display

If you’re working on a large screen (24″ or more), it may be useful to display Objects, Properties, and Actions side by side rather than stacked.

Disable Use Tabs in the Zoom menu.

You’ll get a “super-panel” space formed of 2 columns.

Save your workspace

PandaSuite automatically remembers the position of the panels. Preferences are stored on the computer side, allowing you to:

  • Work comfortably on a 27″ iMac,
  • Resume the same project on a MacBook: your panels adjust without losing the main organization.

Multi-Screen Tip

If you have a second screen, use the share link on that other screen: you can view your actions in real time without hiding the creation area.
