**The Screenshot component allows you to take a screenshot of part or all of a screen. You can use the screenshot in the application or send it by email. This component is particularly useful for games or product configurators.**

## Take a screenshot

Insert the **Screenshot** component into your screen.

In the Properties, choose what you want to capture: a screen or a component.

To take the screenshot, select your button and create the action: **Interact with a component** > **Screenshot** > **Take a photo**

## Display the screenshot

If you want to display the screenshot in your application, you need to add an image whose source comes from the Screenshot component.

Select the image and in the Properties window, select **Source**. Add a data binding: **From a component**.

The screenshot is automatically displayed after it is captured.

## Use the capture in the same action list

Binding an image to the component shows the latest capture, whenever it happens. When you need the photo a particular tap produced, and you need it in the same sequence, **Take a photo** also hands its result to the actions below it in the list.

Add your action under **Take a photo**, then bind the value you want to fill with [From a previous action](https://docs.pandasuite.com/essentials/data/data-binding/#from-a-previous-action) > **Result of Take a photo**. That action waits for the capture before it runs, so you can photograph a configurator and share or email that exact image in one sequence.
