# Interactive Zone

> Learn how to effectively use the Interactive Zone component in PandaSuite to trigger actions, enhance interactivity, and manage clickable areas in your designs.

https://docs.pandasuite.com/essentials/components/interactive-zone/

**The Interactive Zone component is a transparent object that you can place anywhere in your interface to trigger an action. It will be useful for enlarging the sensitive area, adding a full-screen clickable zone, placing it over an image, and a thousand other uses.**

## Insert an interactive zone

Click on **Components** and insert the **Interactive Zone**. Move the zone and adjust its size. The Interactive Zone component is either rectangular or square in shape. For a custom shape, we recommend creating and importing a custom transparent vector shape.

**Trigger an action**

Your interactive zone's sole purpose is to trigger an action. Select your component and go to the Actions tab. Click on the **+** button, choose your trigger, and add the action of your choice.

> **Note**
>
> The interactive zone associated with an action takes precedence over any other
> object that does not have an action. If you place the interactive zone
> full-screen over another trigger object, that object will only be active
> within its perimeter, and the interactive zone will remain accessible
> everywhere else.

> **Info**
>
> To open a pop-up, there's no need to add an interactive zone. The Pop-up
> component automatically includes a transparent clickable area.
